REGIONAL QUEENSLAND SOLD OUT TO SHORE-UP BRISBANE VOTES

It’s no surprise that the LNP have done exactly as Labor did and are more concerned about winning government than with ensuring equitable representation around Queensland, Leader of the KAP and state Member for Traeger Robbie Katter has said, digesting the final report from the Queensland Redistribution Commission. 

The LNP have successfully influenced the Queensland Redistribution Commission to abolish a KAP seat, and shift boundaries to move LNP booths to benefit LNP candidates. 

LNP, LABOUR SNUB $19 BILLION QUEENSLAND OPPORTUNITY

The day after the state budget was handed down, both Brisbane’s LNP and Labor refused to restart a $19 billion uranium industry, the Leader of the KAP and state Member for Traeger Robbie Katter has said, responding to the response to the KAP’s motion in Queensland Parliament. 

The KAP moved a motion in parliament calling for the lifting of a ban on uranium mining.

“Mayor Barry Hughes is spot on when he says the Federal Government, after flying in for TV stories while there was flood water all around have now ‘they’ve turned their back on us when it comes to disaster recovery’,” Mr Katter said.

“All the talk about drilling, approvals, and even gas taxes miss the point if they aren’t paired with an emphasis on reducing the price paid by Queensland industry,” he said.

Why would the LNP be signing off on removing conditions for Midwives to administer abortion pills? Leader of the KAP and state Member for Traeger Robbie Katter has asked. 

The Medicines and Poisons (Medicines) Amendment Regulation 2026, Subordinate Legislation No. 16 of 2026, was tabled in the House on 3 March 2026. Part 2 commenced on 1 March 2026 and clause 5 updated the approved versions of several Extended Practice Authorities, including the Extended Practice Authority Midwives from version five to version six. 

STOP SURVEYING VICTIMS AND START FIXING THE REVOLVING DOOR

KAP Leader and Member for Traeger Robbie Katter has slammed the LNP’s new community crime survey, saying North Queenslanders already gave politicians their answer loud and clear years ago.
